Rescued from being a lampshade and coaster–it’s a staved vessel!
This was the project for the woodturning class Santina got me for my birthday. The lighter wood is maple, the darker wood is bloodwood (splines and bottom) and bubinga (middle and top). Finished with gloss acrylic. Hopefully the first of many!
